E.A.T., an organization devoted to promoting the interaction of art and technology, was founded in 1966 by Billy Klüver, Robert Rauschenberg, Robert Whitman, and Fred Waldhauer after the landmark event "9 Evenings: Theatre and Engineering." Experiments in Art and Technology was founded in New York in 1966 by Billy Kluver, Robert Rauschenberg, Robert Whitman and Fred Waldhaer.
